I think the thing that makes East Wilkes High School unique compared to other schools is its number one in size we are a small school and so it feels like a community schools kind of the Hub of all things that we doing this I feel like it's much different than any other school because we are very tight with each other so I can for my family a very fun place. loving people so they're very unified they love one another they know each other by first name and they're committed to each other success as well and that's hard work dedication preparation and back in Powers all Learners to meet their greatest potential for these students bring it everyday Career Technical education is a very important be part of the curriculum here at East Wilkes it's designed to connect students to college industry certification and career opportunities a crowd up here in East Wilkes High School programming honestly we didn't we have a very active and large SFA group my teaching philosophy they should be able to engage with students and connect with them and Inspire them each and every day through a course education we propagated some begonias every on the right we're trying to get those Foods the winter and then pop them up and spring is a bigger like hanging baskets you see the stage progression right there the small pot this is what they were this summer several welding classes we have construction classes we have technology classes we have Allied Health Sciences a business in sports management all of these things that are kids can be exposed to that will help them go on to the next level in the real world our teachers are helpful and very very welcoming feel like we are very prepared to go off to college or into a career path because we are so prepared when we go to class we have quite a few teachers that talk about life outside of high school is really care about us but I would say that the best school did they get in North Carolina if not the whole country we have a great staff here great Administration great in this race in Brantley County that can support is it needed our community is the best of the best they're here they got her back and supporters anytime we need them and last but definitely not least I think I'm pretty sure they are students that's why we're here each and every day that our students are the best we are a family here and that is how we soar to new heights
